Terry Eugene Vannatter

GRASSY MEADOWS, WV – Terry Eugene VanNatter, 71 of Grassy Meadows, WV passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Raleigh General Hospital. Born November 22, 1949, in Logan, WV he was the son of the late Gene Morris and Thelma Imogene Christian VanNatter. Terry was a member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a US Army veteran. His hobbies included: fishing, cutting wood, gardening, collecting coins, fishing rods and guns. Terry also loved to eat and was a workaholic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Michael and Gene VanNatter Jr. and Rebecca VanNatter.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Arlene New VanNatter, sons, Terry Scott VanNatter (Starann) of Daniels, WV and Chris VanNatter (Angela) of Charleston, WV, daughters, Cindy Shrewsbery (Frank) of Springdale, WV, and Ashley Shoemaker (Nick) of Wirtz, VA, brothers, Gary (Gaynell) of Gilbert, WV, Jerry (Deborah) of Grassy Meadows, WV, Mickey (Kate) of Meadow Bridge, WV, Roger (Kathy) of Charleston, WV, Randy of Logan, WV, Adam of Harts, WV, and Noah (Dana) of Hanover, WV, sister, Cathy Gill (Steve) of Meadow Bridge, WV, sixteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces, and nephews.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV with Bishop Mickey VanNatter and Pastor Chris VanNatter officiating.  There will be no visitation.
