Thomas "Radar" Eugene Martin Sr.

RENICK, WV – Thomas Eugene “Radar” Martin Sr., 77 of Renick, WV passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, VA. Born September 21, 1943 in Ghent, WV he was the son of the Late Robert Lee Martin Sr. and Etta Ann Hall Martin. Radar was retired from the Army National Guard. He also served in Germany in the US Army, worked for over thirty years for Browns Construction and helped with parking at numerous Greenbrier East football games. He was a lifelong WVU Sports fan and loved Nascar. Radar attended the Grace Baptist Church at White Sulphur Springs. He loved to mow grass and had formerly played in the Limestone Quarry Baseball League and bowled. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Lee Martin Jr. Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Juanita L. Stidom Martin, sons, Thomas Eugene Martin Jr. (Tammy) of Renick, WV, Tony Wayne Martin of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Brian Keith Martin of Ronceverte, WV, Steven Warren Martin (Samantha) of Lewisburg, WV, Scottie Lee Martin of Renick, WV and an adopted son, Austin Suttle of Lewisburg, WV, brothers, Donnie Martin of Caldwell, WV, J.D. Martin of Beckley, WV and Dale Martin of Virginia Beach, VA, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Baker and Preacher Danny Morgan officiating.
