Toby Morgan

RONCEVERTE, WV – Isaac L. Morgan (Toby) peacefully passed away on November 18, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. Toby was born February 28, 1942, in Ronceverte, WV to the late W. Jennings Morgan and the late Viola Long Morgan. Toby was the last surviving member of the family.

Toby grew up in Ronceverte and after high school he joined his father in Maryland to work in the lumber industry. He worked there for several years. When his father passed away, he worked with his brother in Georgia. Eventually moving back to Ronceverte due to multiple health issues.  He has been under the care of the Lewisburg Healthcare Center, formally The Brier since 2017.  The family would like to thank the staff at CAMC for their compassion and care during Toby’s last days. A very special THANK YOU to Bill Hodges, Rick and Diana Hodges who made sure all of Toby’s special needs and wants were met, of which there were many.

Toby was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Nancy Morgan, Bucilla Belle Hodges and Leta M. Judy, two brothers, Stephen G. Morgan and Zack W. Morgan. He is survived by a special sister-in-law, Lynda Morgan of Warner Robins, GA and a multitude of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901 with Pastor Arnold Morgan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Friday at the funeral home. Online guestbook can be signed and service can be watched at www.morganfh.net.
