CHURCHVILLE, VA - Tommy Lee North, 79, of Churchville, VA formerly of Alderson, WV passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Augusta Health Hospital, Fishersville, VA. Born April 27, 1937 at Springcreek, WV he was the son of the late Roy W. and Marguerite Lovelle Fowler North. Mr. North had been a Sawyer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Bland, grandson, Thomas Gary North Jr., brother, Ercil North and a sister, Thelma North. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma Jean Hagy North, son, Bill North and fianc Tammy Cramer of Michigan, daughter, Kathy Wilson of Caldwell, WV, son, Thomas Gary North, Sr. and wife Cheryl of Churchville, VA, son, David North and fianc Carmen Gore of Ronceverte, WV, son, Wayne North of Staunton, VA, sister, Carol Fadeley and husband Joe of Rising Sun, MD, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
