Valerie Carol Gunter

ASBURY, WV – Valerie Carol Guy, 59, of Asbury, WV passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Valerie was born October 29, 1963 in Orange County, California. She was the daughter of the late Morris Guy and Sylvia Ann Rybolt Byrd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wayne Gunter, a grandson, Darrius Morgan, a sister, Denise Annette Baker, her 3 brothers, Rodney Conine, Terry Conine, and Randall Guy, and a nephew, Bo Baker.

Survivors include her children, Victor Williams (Jessica) of Cornstalk, WV and Nicole Blankenship (Donovan) of Hinton, WV, a sister, Sharon Balen of Casper, WY, a niece, Teresa Ayers of Alderson, WV, 2 stepsons, Joshua Gunter (Kristen) of Cave Creek, AZ and Jared Gunter (Jennifer) of Gap Mills, WV, her grandchildren, Dylan Gunter, Natalie Williams (Porter), Joseph Williams, and Kayden Blankenship.
