Velma Blankenship, 72, of Frankford passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. Born November 30, 1942 at Burnwell she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Kathryn Wickline Tincher. Velma retired as Restaurant Manager from ABB after more than sixteen years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Louvine Tincher and Carol Sue Hinkle; brothers, Bobby Joe Tincher and Ed Tincher; and a son-in-law, Lee Evans. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Walter Blankenship; daughters, Rose Evans of Frankford and Barbara Elswick and husband, David of Talcott; son, Timmy Blankenship and wife, Mary of Coffman Hill; two grandchildren, Ally Evans and Woodson Blankenship; brother, Richard Tincher and wife, Bernice of Renick; sisters, Maxie Trader of Ronceverte, Libby Fuller and husband, Richard of Clintonville, and Ellen Hambrick and husband, Roger of Ronceverte; special son, Austin Suttle, special niece, Jo Holland-Fullen of Maxwelton; aunt, Ruth Tirrell and husband of Inman, SC; and tons of nieces and nephews.Service:2:00 PM SundayMorgan Funeral HomeVisitation:12:00 to 2:00 PM SundayAugust 2, 2015Morgan Funeral Home
