Velma Walton

LEWISBURG, WV – Velma Kathryn Campbell Walton, 94 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born November 18, 1929, in Stanaford, WV, she was the daughter of the late Detward and Christine Massie Campbell.  Velma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairlea and had retired from Greenbrier Manor as a Housekeeper.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Harding Walton, son in law, Larry Allen Terry, brothers, Junior, Charlie, David, and Donnie Campbell, sisters, Anita Hodges, and Alberta Mabe.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Terry, grandchildren, Melanie O’Brien and husband Michael, Lori Boggs and husband Heath, Beth Black and husband Eddie, Craig Terry and wife Ashley, great grandchildren, Zachary Boggs and wife Kayla, Michaela Norman and husband Tanner, Connor O’Brien, Hannah Boggs, Braden Terry, and Alayna Terry, and one great-great grandson, Berkley Norman, sisters, Drema Mills and husband Everette and Rita Campbell, brother, Buford Campbell and wife Regina, several nieces, and nephews.

Services will be private for the family. Burial will be in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.
