WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – Velva Inez Dalton Nester, 89 of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her home. Born November 24, 1931 in Glace, WV she was the daughter of the late Oscar Bryan and Mary Alma McGrady Dalton. Velva attended the Glace Chapel and was a retired Cook from White Sulphur Springs Elementary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Franklin Nester, son, Dale Nester, sister, Gracie White and a brother, Carlos Dalton. Survivors include one son, Paul Stephen Nester (Diane) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, four daughters, Judy Hall and Paula Anglin of Covington, VA, Denise Waid and Shannon Gilbert (Eric) all of White Sulphur Springs, WV, sisters, Millie Spence (Thurman) of Caldwell, WV and Glenda Boggs (Jerry) of Union, WV, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Don Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mapledale Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home.
