VIRGIE FRANCES MASTERS (December 3, 1937 - September 9, 2014) Virgie Frances Masters passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Autumn Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Wilmington, North Carolina following a short illness. She was 76 years old. Born December 3, 1937 in Ronceverte, West Virginia to Henry and Callie Loudermilk, Virgie lived a full Christian life. She attended Seaside Chapel in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Holbert Loudermilk and George Loudermilk and half-sister, Eula Coyle. Virgie is survived by her husband, Lewis "Pete" Masters, her son, William Masters, her son, David Masters and his wife, Sheila Masters, her grandson, Joshua Masters and her "adopted" son, Arthur Erskine and his family. Virgie is also survived by three sisters, Isabel Morgan of Caldwell and Rachel Allen and Florence "Monk" Register of Ronceverte and one brother, Eugene Loudermilk of Ft. Spring. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Wanda Loudermilk and Irene Woodrum, both of Caldwell and by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00am at Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Organ Cave with Rev. Everette Defibaugh and Rev. Danny Morgan officiating.
