Virginia Rose Fry Lowe

Virginia Rose Fry Lowe, 40 of Rt. 2Alderson passed away Friday morning after battling lung and brain cancer. She was born May 6, 1974 to Spurgeon and Rose Tincher Fry. Known as "Jennifer" to family and friends, she was preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandparents, Taylor Fry and Virginia Fry Rutherford. In addition to her father, she is survived by her son Steven Lee Burgiss; sister, Loretta Tickle and husband, Ricky and their son, Ricky Jr.; maternal grandparents, Betty Tincher of Christiansburg, VA and Joe Tincher of Rupert; uncles, Virgil Tincher and Melissa of Sam Black, Melvin and Angie of VA, James and Michelle of VA, James Fry and Juanita of Asbury, Roy McCutcheon and Betty of Muddy Creek Mountain and Joe and Gloria of VA; aunts, Carrie Rutherford and Warren of SC, Janie Rutherford and Thomas of Muddy Creek Mountain and Rebecca Rogers of Lewisburg and many cousins and extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Peyton Hospice House staff, Aunt Janie, Jackie Cole and all that helped in any way to make the last days more comfortable. And for all the prayers and love shown to "Jennifer", we truly thank you. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Ricky Tickle officiating. Burial will follow in McElhenny Church Cemetery at Dawson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, Feb. 9 at the funeral home.
