Wade Jonathan Sayers, 43, of Lewisburg passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Born September 28, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of Paul A. Sayers and Linda Sayers Snyder, Wade grew up in country settings in Maryland and Virginia before coming to the Greenbrier Valley in 1987. He was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School and West Virginia Tech where he received his degree in Computer Aided Drafting and was immediately employed by Herb Montgomery, the Director of Public Works for the City of Lewisburg. Wade was a dedicated and able draftsman, being instrumental in converting all the old blueprints to digital and all the city water meters to GPS location. Wade was widely known for cruising in his little green MGB and loved to participate in local auto shows. He was a devoted and loving caregiver to his mother at home and loved his "Mr. Priss" kitty. He was predeceased by his father, Paul, one year ago. He is survived by his son, Terry Lee Bess, mother, Linda Sayers Snyder and brothers, Michael (Becky), Mark(Tammy), Todd(Sharon), Tim(Mary); nieces, Samantha, Rachel and Rowan Sayers and nephew, Matthew Sayers. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the family cemetery on the family farm. There will be no visitation.
