Walter Ray Neely

LEWISBURG, WV – Walter Ray Neely, 68 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.  Born January 7, 1951 in Mingo County, WV he was the son of the late Fred Bunyon Neely Jr. and Emma Karl Juchheim Neely.  Mr. Neely was a member of the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene and Past President of the Frankford Ruritan Club.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and caring for his mules and cattle.  His time spent with his family was cherished most of all.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Neely.  Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years, Gloria Reynolds Neely, daughter Patricia Neely Carola (Robert) of Ronceverte, WV, sister, Wanda Ward of Arlington, VA, brothers in law, Calvin Reynolds (Kay) and Sonny Reynolds all of Frankford, WV, sisters in law, Donna Osborne of Lewisburg, WV and Susan Morrison (Brian) of Frankford, WV, nephew Jason Reynolds, special friend, Jack Hayes of Frankford, WV, several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene, Fairlea, WV with Pastor Don Armstrong officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.  There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene, 167 Dawkins Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net .  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
