Wanda Faye Carter

Wanda Faye Carter, 76, of Lewisburg passed away on Monday January 25, 2016 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea. Born April 6, 1939 at Rupert she was the daughter of the late Clay and Pearl Bostic Cadle. And preceding her in death was a brother, Sheldon Cadle. Wanda retired from ABB in 2002 after twenty-nine years of service. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Stanley Carter of Asbury; daughters, Terry Zimmerman and her husband, Sam of Lewisburg, and Susie Sams and her husband, John of Ft. Springs; seven grandchildren, Eric (Nikki) Carter, Josh (Jennifer) Carter, Jessica (Michael) Sims, Bryana (Jed) Smith, Jon Sams (Toni), Audra (David) Trout, and Kayla (Derek) Poage; thirteen great grandchildren; and sisters, Ilena Hammonds, Wilma Jean Majors, and Rose Anderson. Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday January 28, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Garrett Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Ft. Springs.
