Wanda Mae Ervin

RENICK, WV – Wanda Mae Ervin, 88 of Renick, WV passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born April 19, 1933, in Renick, WV she was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Owens. Wanda was retired from Appalachian Electronics and was a member of the Band of Hope Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilford Arlin Owens and Delbert Owens and a sister, Mildred Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Ervin, and Julius Ervin (Carla) all of Renick, WV, daughters, Wanda Jean Hanna (Emory) of Renick, WV, Sharon Ervin of Mt. Solon, VA, Debbie Beard (Carl) of Lewisburg, WV, Valerie Legg (Tony) of Lewisburg, WV and Patricia Ervin of Renick, WV. Known as “Granny to many she is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Groves officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery Mausoleum.
