Wilburn Lawrence "Wib" Baldwin

Wilburn Lawrence "Wib" Baldwin, 81, of Renick passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 following an extended illness. Born August 5, 1930 at Blake Knob, near Renick, Wib was the son of the late Lawrence and Mahala Blake Baldwin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Conrad Baldwin; and two brothers, Don Baldwin and Leonard Dempsey Baldwin. Survivors include his sons, Wilburn Lawrence Baldwin Jr, and Kristi Kay of Renick and Stephen Harrison Baldwin of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Baldwin of Alta, Stephen Baldwin Jr. of Ronceverte, and Ali Johnston of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren, Alexis Jones and Chandler Jones; sisters, Ruby Burns and Wanda Mann both of Frankford, and Veda Pusateri of Buffalo, NY; and a brother, James Owen Baldwin of Covington, VA. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday October 28, 2011 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Stephen Baldwin Jr. and Rev. Felix Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Tree Cemetery at Brushy Flat-Renick Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
