William Benjamin Suttle

Rev. William B. "Benny" Suttle died Friday, August 23, 2013 at his home after a battle with cancer. Born September 25, 1927 at Williamsburg, he was the son of the late William Samuel and Lillian Grace Yates Suttle and was preceded in death by his second wife, Geneva Fuller Suttle and a son-in-law James Robert Poe. Benny served his country in the US Navy and worked many years as a heavy equipment mechanic in the construction industry. He is survived by his son, William J. "Billy" Suttle (Gail); daughter, Grace Poe and his second wife, Geneva's children whom he helped raise, Allen Fuller (Kristen) of Virginia, Ervin Billings (Judy) of Tennessee, Regina Suttle of Meadow Bridge and Jane Billings of Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services and burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 27 at Juglan Lake on the Shoestring Trail at Clintonville with Rev. Paul Brown and Rev Jay Talbott officiating. His wishes are to have a picnic on the lake grounds following the burial so all bring a covered dish and celebrate his homegoing at the lake that he engineered the building of.
