William James Winston Sr.

William James Winston Sr., 82 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Seneca Trail Healthcare Center. Born September 9, 1943 in Rhodell, WV he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Winston and Bessie Bell Gross Walsh. He served his nation proudly in the U.S. Airforce. Mr. Winston retired from Greenbrier Physicians as a Supply Clerk and was a member of the Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vona Winston. Survivors include his son, William James Winston Jr. (Lora) and a grandson, Michael Winston. It was Mr. Winstons wish to be cremated. There will be no service.
