Willie Gene Fogus

RENICK, WV – Willie Gene Fogus, 45 of Renick, WV passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born July 9, 1975 in Alexandria, VA he was the son of Willie Evans (Oretta) and the late Janet Lee Clevenger Fogus. Willie worked for Sunshine Farms. He loved gardening, landscaping, and taking care of his plants. Willie was an avid hiker, loved traveling the mountains and being outdoors. He was well known for his humor and making people smile. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Velma and George Clevenger and his paternal grandparents Fannie Evans Harris (Joseph Harris Sr.). Including his father, survivors include his loving companion of over twenty years, Denise Justice, children, Willie and Jasmine Fogus of Front Royal, VA, brother, Michael Fogus of Renick, WV and sisters, Latonya Wise of Myrtle Beach, SC and Toneshia Wise of Lewisburg, WV. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV with a viewing from 10:30 AM until time of the service at the cemetery.
