Wyatt Lewis Christian, passed away in his loving parents’ arms at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital NICU in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 17, 2022. Wyatt was born on October 17, 2022, over a month premature, and was immediately hospitalized to treat Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia - CDH, a condition that was diagnosed with treatments that started even before he was born. During his one month stay in the NICU he underwent several medical procedures and an extensive CDH repair surgery. Wyatt was a fighter right until the end and his family was so proud of him. Precious sweet baby, please know that our greatest blessing was having you and that you touched so many lives in such a brief time. Wyatt was deeply loved and cherished by family and many friends.

Wyatt is survived by his parents, Hayden Christian and Whitney Harless of Ronceverte, WV; paternal grandparents, John and Marsha Christian Shaver of Lewisburg; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Beverly Harless of Dawson, WV; great grandparents Samuel and Linda Christian of Lewisburg, WV; his Aunts: Kristen (Josh) Parker of Smoot, WV, Tiffany Harless (Alli Blanton) of Charleston, WV, Baylee Christian of Morgantown, WV, and Maddie Shaver of Lewisburg, WV; first cousins: Dakota, Kadin and Kameron Parker and Lawson Harless Blanton; also many great- aunts and -uncles and extended family. Wyatt is preceded in death by his great-grandparents James and Madelyn Kenney and James and Helen Harless; great uncle, Lewis Christian, for whom he was named after.

A private memorial service will be held with family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers Wyatt’s family would be honored to have you support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati, 341 Erkenbrecher Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229 as they provided a home away from home and many wonderful services during the month before and after Wyatt’s birth.
