LEWISBURG, WV - Michael Allen Smith, 64, of Lewisburg, WV passed away, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Born April 22, 1953 at Elkins, WV he was the son of the late Bradford Smith and Bernice Leigh Vanscoy Simmons. Mike was the Manager for True Value. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Delaine Riffle and brother in law Gerald Riffle. Survivors include his loving wife, Dixie Rowan Smith, sons, Jerry Smith and wife Jill of Hematite, VA and Scott Smith and wife Kristi of Calhoun, GA grandchildren, Chavis Smith, Megan Vance, Hannah, Hunter, Eliza, Elsie, Chase and Brooke Smith, step father, Arley Simmons, brother, Gary Smith of Elkins, WV sisters, Carol Wolfe and husband Gerald of Montrose, WV, Barbara Wiseman and husband Gary of Elkins, WV, June Ann Nixon and husband Jay of Cravensdale, WV, Linda Boyles and husband David of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.A celebration of Mikes life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Michael Boggs officiating.
