Dreama Kay Culver, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on June 15, 2026, at the Seneca Trail Healthcare Center in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Born on June 19, 1949, in Union, West Virginia, Dreama lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone she met.
Known for her happy and cheerful personality, Dreama was a woman who never met a stranger. Her polite and loving nature, coupled with a giving heart, endeared her to family, friends, and community alike. A true fashionista, she expressed her vibrant personality not only through her kindness but also through her impeccable style. Dreama found great joy in reading the Bible and nurturing her plants, hobbies that reflected her deep faith and nurturing soul.
Dreama is lovingly remembered by her son, Barry Culver; her daughter, Drusilla Collins (Reed); her brothers, Donald Triplett (Freda), Charles Gooch, and Robert Franklin Gooch; and her sisters, Cheryl Minter (David) and Patricia Molina. She cherished her role as a grandmother to three grandchildren and as a great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her later years, aunt, Viola Knox (Michael), uncle, Vonnie Triplett (Gloria) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her devoted parents, John and Martha Smith, her beloved husband, Bennie Culver, and her sons, Kirk Culver and Alexander Culver. She also mourned the loss of her grandmother, Robbie Triplett, and her brother, Eugene Gooch.
Dreama’s family will honor her memory with a visitation at the Morgan Funeral Home located at 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, on June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 PM.
Through her generous heart, her loving nature, and the light she brought to those around her, Dreama leaves a lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished by all who knew her.
